Main Characters:
Ash Ketchum- has always dreamed of becoming a Pokémon Master and as soon as he hit the age of 10 he rushed to Professor Oak's Laboratory to get his first Pokémon. Originally wanting to choose Squirtle, Ash ended up getting the Pokémon Pikachu and left on his journey. Starting off as a completely unskilled trainer, Ash managed to go through, with the assistance of his friends Misty & Brock and capture new Pokémon and defeat the gyms in Kanto, allowing him to enter in the Pokémon League. Since then he has continued to travel, make new friends and capture new Pokémon while still following his goal of becoming a Pokémon Master. Since this goal is so close to his heart, he sometimes acts a bit rash and rushes to the next battle he can as fast as possible.
Brock-Brock, the eldest child in his family, started off looking after all of his younger siblings while being the Pewter City Gym Leader, a tough job indeed. However after meeting up with Ash, Brock met his father who ran off long ago and thus decided to travel with Ash on his journey while his father, Flint, took over the responsibilities of the gym and the family. Brock's main Pokémon ambition is to become a Pokémon Breeder and during his travels he has learned a lot about Pokémon and their habits, especially during his tenure assisting Professor Ivy in the Orange Islands. Brock is a very flirtatious person and acts as a father figure to Ash & May, giving them advice and hints while in battle. He is also a good cook.
Dawn-Dawn is an eager girl who has just started on her Pokémon journey. Coming from a family of co-ordinators, her mother winning the Grand Festival, Dawn has her heart set on following in her mother's footsteps and being a great Pokémon Co-ordinator in the Pokémon Super Contests. After befriending Piplup while searching for a Chimchar that escaped from the lab, she quickly met with Ash after finding Pikachu whom was running from Team Rocket. Dawn soon decided to join Ash on his journey through Sinnoh. However, Dawn does seem to be a bit too sure of herself and her strengths as a trainer.
Rivals:
Paul-Paul is a rather arrogant trainer who has just started out. From Tobari Town, he headed to Sandgem to get his starter. However, he is not a caring trainer, what he wants from his Pokémon is pure power and the trainers he faces to be strong. When he first meets Ash, he demands a 3 on 3 Battle, however since Ash was still looking for Pikachu, Ash couldn't battle, this warranted some aggrivation on Paul's part. Paul is also known to release his Pokémon if he deems them weak or useless.
Zoey-Zoey is a Pokémon Co-ordinator from Sinnoh. Eager to start out, she enjoys getting ready for the contests. Zoey is a very confident Pokémon Co-ordiantor and is eager to help out other co-ordinators if she feels that they need it. However despite this, if necessary, she will traunce them in the Contests.
